About

Originally from Orange in regional New South Wales, Dominic is a highly qualified and experienced lawyer with a strong background in criminal justice. He holds a Bachelor of Social Science (Criminal Justice) from Charles Sturt University in Bathurst, and a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from Macquarie University. During his legal studies, Dominic also completed a semester abroad at Tilburg University in the Netherlands, broadening his international legal perspective.

After graduating, Dominic undertook his practical legal training with the Aboriginal Legal Service in Redfern, a formative experience that deepened his commitment to social justice. Upon completion he was admitted as a solicitor to the Supreme Court of New South Wales and the High Court of Australia in 2015.

Dominic began practicing at a prominent Sydney law firm, where he built a strong general legal practice with a particular focus on criminal law and coronial inquests.

More recently, Dominic served as an In-House Lawyer and Counsel for one of the largest trade unions in New South Wales. In this role, he represented union members in workplace disciplinary proceedings, unfair dismissal claims, industrial disputes, coronial inquests, and a wide range of regulatory and employment law matters.

Dominic is deeply committed to giving back to the community. He has previously volunteered as a lawyer with the Redfern Legal Centre, supporting vulnerable individuals with free legal advice. He also mentors young lawyers through the Law Society of NSW Mentoring Program, helping to develop the next generation of legal professionals.

Outside of his legal career, Dominic is passionate about rugby. He has played over 150 grade games for Northern Suburbs Rugby Club and remains an active supporter of his hometown team, the Orange City Rugby Club.
